H.E. Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi inaugurates Al-Ataa Hospital in Al-Sadr City

His Excellency Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi inaugurated this Sunday Al-Ataa Hospital in Al-Sadr City, for patients infected with Coronavirus pandemic, which has been rehabilitated and implemented by the Sarāyā as-Salām, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Environment.
His Excellency Al-Kadhimi visited the hospital's corridors, inspected its departments, and commended the great effort that contributed to the establishment of the hospital in this difficult circumstance, in which government efforts and social activities join forces to confront the Coronavirus pandemic, in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
His Excellency AL-Kadhimi praised the cooperation of the people of Al-Sadr City with the Ministry of Health, and his Excellency said: I am happy to be among my family, people, loved ones and friends in Al-Sadr City

His Excellency Prime Minister appreciated the Sarāyā as-Salām's initiative, and their efforts to establish this hospital, which will provide services to citizens, in extending his thanks to His Eminence, Muqtada Al-Sadr, Who directed the conversion of one of the headquarters of the Sarāyā as-Salām to rehabilitate it to be a private hospital for receiving those infected with COVID-19. He stressed that the integration in the fields of work in the current stage, It will unify the efforts and strengthening hope of action in containing the Coronavirus pandemic.
His Excellency Primer AL-Kadhimi called on the Ministry of Health and Environment to provide all support and maintenance for such initiatives and to intensify efforts to control the pandemic and save the infected.
The Minister of Health and Environment provided a detailed explanation of the hospital, which can accommodate more than three hundred beds with lounges, intensive care equipped with medical supplies by the Ministry of Health, Medical Staff, and nursing crew have been prepared to work in the hospital.
