The Cabinet holds its regular session, this Tuesday 9th of April 2019, chaired by His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi


The Cabinet decided to amend recommendations of the method of executive order municipality NO (1) for the Year 2018.

The Cabinet approved the regulations of employee secondment to work in the private sector.

The Cabinet voted to re-introduce investment in the port of Faw to the Council of Ministers again.

The Council of Ministers approved the opening of a Philippine consulate to Iraq in the province of Arbil and the opening of a consulate general to Iraq in the province of Holy Najaf in exchange for the opening of an Iraqi Consulate in Dammam Saudi Arabia, the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Toronto, Canada, and the establishment of the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission to Iraq (UNAMI) In the province of Nineveh.

The Cabinet approved the recommendation of the Supreme Committee for the reform of the ration card system for the wounded and disabled people and those who retire for health reasons.

The Cabinet also approved the recommendations of the Committee formed pursuant to the Council of Ministers Decision No. (23) of 2019 on the audit of the statements submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture, And procedures for compensation for damage caused by bird flu.
