His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd AL-Mahdi met in Tehran Islamic Republic of Iran Supreme Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei, in his office this day in the capital Tehran.

our people were able to be united and give precious sacrifice, defend its land and sanctities while defeating Daesh is a victory for the region and the world, Praising the stand of the Islamic Republic alongside the Iraqi people against terrorism until the liberation of all its territory, the determination of the Iraqi government to develop relations with Iran in all fields and the common pursuit of the implementation of the agreements.

His Excellency underscored the approach of the Iraqi government based on strengthening the participants and enhance opportunities for cooperation with all neighboring countries, meantime not to enter the axis at the expense of any country and reject the policy of axes and the desire to establish relations serving all peoples of the region, pointing to a close tour includes countries of the region and the Arab neighborhood to promote this approach.


The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyid Khamenei underscored that the relations between Iraq and Iran are historic and deep And that the bonds between the two neighboring peoples are strengthened by the will and common desire of the two countries to achieve common interests, He commended the courage of the Iraqi people and the defeat of terrorism, Iraq will and defense of its land and holy sites, and that the Iraqi government is strong and able to fill gaps in the face of terrorism,

He added: Iraqi today represents a very vital role in regionally benefiting nations and citizens of the region, expressing his great confidence in the Iraqi government to achieve more success and meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people in all its components.
