His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi receives a call from U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

His Excellency Prime Minister confirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries, deepening economic relations and Iraq's desire to transfer US technology and expertise to Iraq, creating job opportunities inside Iraq and develop vital sectors in it.

His Excellency Prime Minister underscoring the importance of strengthening the exerting efforts of the parties to resolve the final negotiations and the signing of the "one package" with the U.S. Company ExxonMobil to develop the Iraqi energy sector.

His Excellency Prime Minister reviewed the results of his European tour and other important issues of mutual interest.

U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo affirmed the support of the United States for the Iraqi government and its foreign policy, welcoming Iraq's role and its great position in the region and promoting economic, political and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
