H.E. Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi receives GCC's Secretary General

His Excellency Prime Minister
Adel Abd Al-Mahdi confirmed that
Iraq's relations with its
surroundings essential and
irreplaceable; it should be
peace and love home, Iraqi could
not live or develop without
cooperation and understanding
with it Arabic surroundings and
neighboring.
That comes during His Excellency
received, in his office this
day, Gulf Cooperation Council's
Secretary General Abdullatif Al
Zayani.
His Excellency said: Our foreign
policy is meet with our vision,
our domestic policy, our sincere
and serious foreign aspirations
in establishing the best
relations and exchanging
interests with the Arab and
neighboring countries, Which is
a serious policy and prompted
from the interests of our
peoples and our countries,
pointing to developments in
Iraq, security stability and
cooperation between the
executive and legislative
authorities.
Abdullatif Al Zayani said: I
convey to you the greetings of
the leaders of the GCC and the
political will and sincere
intentions to support Iraq, its
government, security, stability
and prosperity, and our support
for all what you have in serving
Iraq and its people, we are very
optimistic in your leadership in
achieving the interest of Iraq
and all Iraqis, and what we have
seen of stability and normal
life, Pointing out that Baghdad
today is very different from
what we saw earlier, clarifying
that the region as all in need
to stability, and that this
opportunity is available today
more than ever before,
underscoring that the Gulf
leaders have taken a decision on
the importance of strategic
partnership with Iraq and strive
to get to that.
During the meeting, they
discussed the future of the
relationship between Iraq and
the GCC countries and means of
enhancing them in all fields.
The meeting was attended by a
member of the Foreign Relations
Committee of the House of
Representatives, Mr. Melhan
Al-Mukhtar, Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs and a number of
officials and advisers.
