His Excellency Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received this day in his office, The Commander of United States Central Command Gen. Joseph Votel on the occasion of Completion of his Duties.

They discussed the cooperation in the war against Daesh Terrorist gang, training, the positive developments in Iraq, the Government's tendencies to promote security, stability, and the reconstruction of liberated and affected cities, as well as efforts to eliminate the remnants of Daesh in Syria.

The meeting was attended by Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq Mr. Joe Had, The Commander of the International Coalition Forces in Iraq and Syria General Paul La Kamra, and Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant-General Othman Al-Ghanmi.
