H.E. Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi: Iraq seeks to benefit from South Korean's experience in developing it's economy and services sectors.

His Excellency Prime Minister
confirmed that Iraq is seeking
to benefit from the South Korean
experience in developing it's
health, agriculture sectors,
providing modern irrigation
systems, laboratories for the
production of agricultural
materials, development and
construction of roads,
reconstruction and construction
of schools as well as opening of
factories to assemble and
produce the Korean auto
industry.
This came during His Excellency
reception his official office
this morning, an adviser to the
President of South Korea Mr.
Hang Pyeong du and his
delegation, which includes Vice
President of Hyundai
Construction and Chairman of Kai
Air Industries, Foreign Ministry
officials and the Korean
ambassador in Baghdad.
His Excellency Prime Minister
added that Iraq is proud of its
relations with South Korea and
that the Iraqi citizen trusts
the Korean industries and is
interested in cooperation for
the benefit of the two countries
and operating of the largest
number of Iraqi workers,
graduates, and engineers in the
South Korean companies and
transfer their diverse
experiences to Iraq, His
Excellency thanked the Korean
delegation for its response to
the establishment of a heart
disease hospital for children,
and the specialized health
centers needed by Iraq.
His Excellency explained the
developments in Iraq and the
government tends to encourage
construction and attract
investment and modern
technology.
The Korean official conveyed the
greetings of the South Korean
President to His Excellency
Prime Minister, expressing his
solidarity with the Iraqi people
and the victims of the ferry in
Mosul.
The president and members of the
Korean delegation expressed
their desire to develop
relations and transfer the
necessary expertise, technology
to Iraq and to open factories
for Korean car manufacturers in
Iraq and the use of spare parts
from the Iraqi market, And to
achieve the system of
e-government, which is South
Korea a leading country,
pointing to the direction of
teams specialized in
coordination with the Iraqi
authorities to locate the Heart
Hospital for children, in
addition to a site for the
assembly of cars, And to prepare
fully to respond to the demands
of His Excellency Prime Minister
to develop the sectors of
health, agriculture, roads and
housing construction and schools
in a quick manner, and the
Korean delegation point that the
refinery in Karbala could
recruit 5,000 Iraqi workers.
