The Ministerial Energy Committee's 10th session chaired by His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi, The Ministry of Electricity briefed its preparations for the upcoming summer season, the Committee viewed the results of the working team's visit to the outskirts of Baghdad, along with the other issues on the agenda.

His Excellency Prime Minister listened to a brief detailed explanation from the direct officials concerning the production and distribution power stations, the obstetric capacity, the requirements for the operation of suspended stations, plans for maintenance and sustainability.

His Excellency Prime Minister confirmed the need to increase the production of electricity, its stability during the coming summer and to fulfill the ministry's commitments to improve the electrical system.

His Excellency directed to study the offers to support electricity, fuel, and water provided by a number of countries and international companies.

His Excellency instructed to provide all facilities and funding for projects to increase the production of electric power.

The meeting was attended by ministers of electricity, oil and water resources and a number of deputy ministers, consultants, and experts.
