His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received this day in his office, the Chief Executive of BP Bob Dudley, who expressed the company's desire to work in Iraq and his admiration for plans to stabilize and develop the economy.

The stages and plans for the development of current and future projects carried out by the company in Iraq were discussed.

His Excellency Prime Minister welcomed the desire of the British Petroleum Group to invest in the oil fields development in Iraq, the ongoing discussions with the Ministry of Oil, to enhance cooperation by helping them develop oil wealth and revitalize the Iraqi economy.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Thamer Ghadhban.
