His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi Met, Today on Thursday, with the Diyala's representatives, its governor, its chairman, and the police chief.

During the meeting, they discussed the situation in the province such as security, services, economy, trade, education, health, agriculture, energy, roads, stagnant projects, reconstruction, resettlement, housing, border crossings and IDP's.

His Excellency listened to representatives and the local government's presentation; they provided a summary concerning problems and obstacles that halt providing services to citizens.

His Excellency welcomed Diyala province's representatives, the local government and Police chief. Reassuring that Diyala is characterized by diversity, which is a source of strength for the province and has privacy while we are working hard to resolve its problems.

His Excellency added that the meetings continued with all provinces to assess the situation and accelerate providing services and necessary projects.

His Excellency reaffirmed that Diyala suffered greatly during the past period and suffered great damage, assuring that he will continue and work with all available efforts to provide solutions and follow-up what the representatives and the local government have been laid.

At the end of the meeting, a set of directives were issued to follow up on what was put forward by the representatives and the local government in order to provide services to citizens in Diyala province.
