His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi has received The Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General Ján Kubiš.

During the meeting, they have discussed political, the security situation in the country, stability reconstruction operations and UN's upcoming programs in Iraq.

Ján Kubiš has confirmed United Nations support for Iraq and the Iraqi government headed by His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi and the ongoing work with the international community to assist in Iraq's rebuilding.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi has reaffirmed on the importance of the international community's support for Iraq during the next phase after achieving victory over terrorism, moving ahead to the stage of reconstruction of the country, investment, providing services and creating jobs.
