His Excellency Prime Minister
Adil Abd Al-Mahdi has received,
Today on Monday, President of
the Supreme Judicial Council
Faiq Zidan and his accompanying
delegation.
During the meeting, they have
confirmed the importance of
cooperation between the
executive and judicial
authorities during the next
phase, strengthening of the
constitutional understanding of
the principle of separation of
powers, which includes the
independence of each authority,
opening channels of
communication, cooperation and
consultation effectively to
serve the people and achieving
their aspirations.
His Excellency Prime Minister
has also reaffirmed the speed of
studying the judicial files
resulting from the events of the
province of Basra, which was
renewed during the months of
July, August and September,
closing the outstanding issues,
for building confidence between
the peaceful demonstrators and
the security services assigned
to protect them.
