His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has chaired, Today on Monday, a meeting for ministerial energy committee

In The meeting, they have a broad discussion of the decrease in the supply of electricity to citizens and the reasons for this decrease and speeding up the solution of all problems to re-supply the citizens with electricity, especially in the month of Ramadan.

The Minister of Electricity has gave a detailed explanation on the status of electric power, adding of new units of Basmaya, others, maintenance work to enter the stations respectively and supply fuel to the plants

On another topic, they have discussed the use of oil reservoirs by the two pipelines and pipelines, the distribution of oil products and the renewal of the contract of the well services of Al Ahdab oil field.

The project of the expansion of Nasiriyah oil field has been also submitted to to the Council of Ministers, as well as the tender design, processing, and establishment of the central station in the field of Majnoon
