His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi has received a call, Today on Sunday, from First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri, congratulating him on the occasion of forming the government, stressing that democracy in Iraq is a model for the countries of the region.

Eshaq Jahangiri has expressed the Iranian Islamic Republic's confidence in His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi 's long experience and the importance of this experience in enabling Iraq to overcome the current difficulties.

For his part, His Excellency Prime Minister has hailed the distinguished relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing the need to exchange visits and continuous dialogue to strengthen relations, removing obstacles and solving outstanding issues between the two countries.
