His Excellency Prime Minister, Commander in chief of the Armed Forces Adil Abd Al-Mahdi has visited the headquarters of the Joint Operations Command.

His Excellency has held a meeting with security and military leaders during which he briefed on the security plans for the visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in addition to the security situation and securing the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

His Excellency has assured that the heroic actions taken by the armed forces in their war against Daesh's terrorist gangs represent large and systematic lessons that will be studied in military academies. We are proud of what you have achieved.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces has stressed the importance of continuing efforts, caution and perseverance to keep tracking of the terrorist cells and securing the border, considering that the terrorism arena with Syria is common with the enemy and we must secure our borders fully.
