His Excellency Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, during his visit to the Joint Operations Command, has briefed Inspection and clearance operations carried out by our heroic forces, after the liberation of the entire territory from Daesh terrorists' gangs and the tracking and elimination of sleeper terrorist cells.
A number of directives have also been issued regarding securing the Iraqi border to prevent infiltration of terrorists as well as strikes against terrorist gangs outside the Iraqi border.
His Excellency has commended the great development of the capabilities of our heroic forces and the intelligence effort that resulted from the sound and strategic planning that was put in place for the development of the armed forces in all its forms and the importance of continuing this right approach to maintain the victory achieved and provide a safe and stable environment for our country and our citizens.
