His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received a call from the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein

During the phone call, they discussed the bilateral between the two countries and the situation in the region. It was also agreed to intensify exchanges of visits at the highest levels to develop fraternal relations between the two countries, Reiterated the congratulations to His Excellency Prime Minister on the primer of the Iraqi cabinet and the accelerated efforts to promote the security, stability, develop the Iraqi economy and serve all the Iraqi people.

His Majesty the King also expressed his appreciation for His Excellency Prime Minister's keenness to expand the horizons of cooperation and strengthening fraternal relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples. The two sides also discussed increasing cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries, also discussed developments in the region and efforts to establish security and stability.

His Excellency Prime Minister expressed his commend and appreciation for the position of the Jordanian monarch and the Jordanian government, which supports Iraq and its people, in order to serve the common interests and boosting the chances of growth and economic prosperity.
