His Excellency Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider al-Abadi has said that the work of our security and military forces is for the security of the citizen, noting that the next stage has a major challenge.

This came during his visit to the Special Division and meeting with its leaders, where he has praised the role of the division in the fight against Daesh and stability of security in Baghdad,
He has added: You have fought in Salah al-Din and the mountains of Makhoul and Tikrit, you did achieve victory.

Dr. al-Abadi has pointed to the importance of the next stage and its challenges to the existence of a threat from terrorist cells from inside Syria, indicating that we have achieved victory over terrorism in Iraq, but it is still in Syria and we must eliminate it.

He has said that terrorism wants to be implemented from any loophole, we should not allow it and be cautious and we must be alert to thwart its attempts and eliminate it.
