His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider al-Abadi has received United States Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they have discussed enhancing relations between the two countries in various fields, especially the economic and political situation in Iraq and the region.

Mr. Sullivan has praised the efforts made by Dr. al-Abadi during his time as Prime Minister of Iraq, where he achieved many achievements in his era, including the liberation of all of Iraq.
