His Excellency Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider al-Abadi has chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security.

During the meeting, they have followed up security plans and the intelligence effort in tracking the terrorist cells and the security operations carried out by our heroic forces to clear the areas and pursue the terrorists, in addition to the security plan to visit 40th of Imam Hussein.

They have discussed cases of smuggling Tax evasion and customs; they have also offered a comparison of what enters the country of income from taxes for four months this year with the same months for the year 2017 and the implementation of a program of revenue at all border crossings.

The Ministry of Finance has been stressed to directly pay the allocations of workers at the border crossing points of 50% per month and retroactively from the date of the issuance of Resolution 61 of 2018.

The memorandum of understanding on security cooperation between the Iraqi Interior Ministry and its Turkish counterpart was also voted.
