His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider AL-Abadi has chaired a meeting of the higher committee for Investment and Reconstruction.
During the meeting, they have discussed the investment of the mega Faw's port, the offers and the time frames for its establishment and the completion of negotiations by the Negotiating Committee to choose one of the offers.
The committee also has discussed the draft of the army's channel, approving the two official documents of the Ministry of Planning concerning it, instructing the National Investment authority to grant an investment license to start the project immediately.
The committee has discussed the completion of the Karbala refinery, approving the plan of the Ministry of Oil for funding that project.
They have discussed the implementation of a number of other projects in the field of investment and reconstruction concerning the requirements of the next stage.
