His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider AL-Abadi has received British Prime Minister Theresa May.
His Excellency Prime Minister Dr.Haider AL-Abadi has welcomed British Prime Minister Theresa May, Who has arrived in Baghdad today in an official visit where an official reception ceremony has taken place.
During the meeting, they have discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, efforts to restore stability, economic cooperation and the situation in the region.
His Excellency Prime Minister welcomed the British Prime Minister on her first visit to Iraq.in her today visit shows to support the development of cooperative relations, expresses the desire to increase the cooperation.

His Excellency said: The Iraqi-British relations are witnessing a clear development, We thank the British government's support for Iraq in all fields, especially the cooperation in counter-terrorism, providing air support, intelligence, support for stability, efforts to return IDP's and human rights,
He has affirmed that the talks with the British Prime Minister focused on the development of relations between the two countries and the two nations, emphasizing on the unity and stability of Iraq throughout expanding cooperation and coordination.
His Excellency has added that we have liberated all Iraqi cities and defeated Daesh by the sacrifices of our people and the courage of our heroic armed and police forces, PMU, and tribal mobilization,
Iraq is heading toward the stage of building, reconstruction, and investment; we have discussed the contribution of British companies and activating the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
For her part, the British Prime Minister has commended the Iraqi forces and said: "We will continue to support Iraq as a partner to extend security, construction, and stability, training of Iraqi forces, and we have allocated funds supporting the Iraqi forces and efforts to return the IDP's and restore stability, we affirm our support for Iraq's reforms".
The British Prime Minister Theresa May has assured her support for the unity of Iraq and asking the Kurdistan region to respect a unified Iraq and encourage dialogue.
The British prime minister said her country looks forward to continuing relations with Iraq in all fields.
