His Excellency Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi met, in Amman on Sunday, the King Abdullah of Jordan.

During the meeting, they discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Jordan, and the war against Daesh's terrorists' gangs and the threat it poses to the region, as well as the situation in the region and the vision of Iraq for the future of the region based on development and security instead of differences and wars. For young people and open new horizons for them, in addition to the deployment of Iraqi forces to maintain order.

King Abdullah affirmed Jordan's support Iraq's unity and constitutional and legal procedures adopted by the Iraqi government, praising the actions of Dr. Haider Al-Abadi in preserving the blood of Iraqis.

King Abdullah expressed his support for the vision of Iraq for the future of the region, which was launched by Dr. Haider Al-Abadi on the basis of development and the extension of security instead of differences and wars and the importance of work.

Dr. Haider al-Abadi pointed out that the priority in Iraq is still to fight Daesh and to eliminate terror, and what happened was the imposition of federal authorities in the regions of Iraq.

He added that our vision for development is to open new horizons for youth and gradually eliminate the problems facing the region. It is important to work together to face these challenges.
