His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi expresses his thanks and appreciation for Al-marjieia ( religious authority) the positions in defending Iraq, the unity of its people, security, safety and its future in the post-victory phase.
Which that was represented in the historical jihad's Fatwa and the conscious response by our people who supported our heroic forces until achieving victory and the cleansing of our land and cities from the Daesh's terrorist gangs.
We emphasize that the government continues to take care of the families of martyrs and wounded who are the makers of victory
Restoring stability and IDP's to the liberated areas, as well as restricted the weapons to the state, which has been implemented
We are going to achieving societal peace, addressing the ideological, behavioral roots, backgrounds of terrorism and eliminating its effects.as well as countering of the rampant corruption and confronting it in all its forms.
We have welcomed the call by the religious authority not to use volunteers and fighters in political mobilization.
That has confirmed the importance of keeping the security institutions away from engaging in the political action, which supported by the Popular Mobilization Units and its affiliates.
That was confirmed by His Excellency Supreme commander of the Armed forces on more than one occasion.
It was issued at an early stage the state decree NO. 91 in 2016.That did set the organizational basis for the Popular Mobilization Units, which later on legislated by the Commission's law,
And the government is working on organizing the PMU's according to the legal contexts of the state and taking care of brave fighters.
The volunteers who have worked valiantly alongside with other security forces, existence considered a consistent policy of the government.
