Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi announced that the intelligence effort was able to arrest the terrorist criminal gang that attacked the New Baghdad area last Monday.

He said during a meeting with a group of judges of Basra "This arrest represents a clear message that the intelligence effort is effective in eliminating crime and there is a significant evolution in its work and we are proud of our security services which arrested the perpetrators within 48 hours.

He pointed out that Basra has seen the work of this effort and it has been working through large areas and seized medium and heavy weapons.
