As part of the implementation of the package of reforms and in order to increase the efficiency of state institutions, the Prime Minister decreed the following:

1. Relieve 123 Deputy Ministers and Directors General from their posts.
2. Refer these officials to retirement or adjust their status by administrative law in accordance with instructions issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
3. The most senior Associate Director-General or Director Section Director assumes management of the department until the appointment of a new Director General.
4. Special committees continue with their tasks of reviewing the structures of Ministries and their level of performance, and evaluation of the senior cadres, and report to the Prime Minister to take appropriate decisions.
