The Council of Ministers' session, chaired by H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, hailed the victories achieved by the security forces, including the army, police, public mobilization, Peshmarka and tribes against Da'esh in the areas of Beiji , Kirkuk, west of Falluja and Haditha.

The CoM emphasized on maintaining the safety of civilians in the areas of combat, and providing safe exit paths from these areas, moreover, the CoM denied any random bombardment in the civil areas, and it asked media resources to be accurate regarding publishing the news of military confrontations.

The CoM also discussed the unfortunate accident in Baghdad Al-Jadeda, and H.E. the Commander-n-Chief directed to open an investigation about it and compensate the victims while the CoM expressed its condolences to the families of the martyrs and injured.
