H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi chaired the meeting of the high committee on youth. The meeting emphasized the government care for the youth and discussed the programs which will be designated to ministries to support the youth sector in addition to discussing the national initiative for youth and the national strategy.
The committee called on all ministries to activate the global day of youth and asked government institutions to focus on this sector, activating voluntary work, interacting with the challenges of the state and creating job opportunities for the young people through providing loans for development projects and attracting investment.
