Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi held a meeting with security and military leaders in the Middle Euphrates Operations Command headquarters.

The PM was briefed on the security situation in the province and preparations for the holy month of Muharram in addition to a detailed explanation on the plan to maintain the security of the province and the pilgrims.

The Prime Minister issued a number of recommendations and guidance in order to remove the obstacles facing security leaders in their work and for the security of the province and its visitors and the security of other provinces.
