During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, and the war on Daesh terrorist gangs and the international community's support for Iraq in this war.

The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation and expressed his thanks for New Zealand's support for Iraq, which shows that Iraq is not alone in this war and that the international community supports it, noting that the Daesh terrorist gangs is not an Iraqi problem but a problem threatening world peace.

In turn, the New Zealand Prime Minister expressed his support for Iraq in its war against Daesh terrorist gangs, as the challenges are immense and require international support, and New Zealand offers everything it can to help Iraq in this war, to bring peace and security to Iraq and the world.
