H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received the Representative of the United Nations in Iraq Mr. Jan Kobitch.
The meeting discussed future programs of the UN in Iraq and its contribution to stabilizing the liberated areas in addition to the conditions of the displaced and the political and security situation in Iraq and the region.
Dr. Al-Abadi commended the efforts of the UN and the support it provides to in the fight against Da'esh in addition to assisting in the recovery of normal life to the liberated areas.
On his part Mr. Kobitch expressed the UN commitment to play its role through managing the financial and executive duties to stabilize the liberated areas which constitutes a basic aspect in Paris Conference.
