Confirming directives by the Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi to start re-stabilization of the liberated areas from the clutches of Daesh terrorist gangs, a signature ceremony took place at the Prime Minister's Office on Thursday for a Memorandum of Acknowledgment to the US Grant to achieve immediate stability in liberated areas among the government of the United States, the United Nations and the Government of Iraq. Accordingly the United States will begin to deliver amounts of the first installment to the United Nations, which will manage the implementation of quick-impact projects for the rehabilitation of basic services and humanitarian needs, UN will receive also amounts of donor countries successively under the recommendation adopted at the Paris Conference last June.
Worth-mentioning, the Prime Minister highlighted during the Paris conference; the International support; coordination of stability efforts that require quick and direct action as well as the reconstruction efforts that falls under the Reconstruction Fund for the implementation of large and strategic projects in the liberated areas, which is being realized at the hands of our armed forces, the popular mobilization and the indigenous tribes.
