H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi said that: today we, along with the youth, are seeking for reforms, improving services and fighting corruption because we are in the same trench. H.E. commended the role of youth to build the society, promote peaceful coexistence and fighting Da'esh and backwardness. H.E. affirmed, in his speech delivered at the 1st conference of coexistence among the youth that the country is facing a dangerous challenge represented by the terrorist gangs who are being confronted by our heroes in the battlefields under an extreme heat to keep the dignity and unity of our country and people.

Dr. Al-Abadi mentioned that uniting all efforts including the political blocks and media will direct the country towards the reforms and safe haven but we notice that there are conflicts among the political blocks over positions, even the sacrifices of heroes became a point of conflict among these blocks. H.E. referred that the holly Fatwa of Marje'ya about the sufficient Jihad is under the umbrella of the state and that the security system is not divided, asking everyone to work as one team because cooperation is better that conflict.

H.E. hailed the demonstrators as they abided by public order, saying that: we do not want to silence an opposing voice; we stand beside them to improve services. We also ordered the security forces to deal respectfully with the demonstrators as these forces which fight at the battlefields are the same ones which protected the demonstrators and the common ground between them is represented by serving the country and citizens.

H.E. emphasized on activating the principle of "where did you get this from" for all, indicating that the Commission on Integrity should form special teams to investigate about gained money.

The PM also said that: any step we take towards reforms is opposed with rejection including the reduction of salaries for officials and including them with the programmed cut of electricity. He also added that the biggest waste of money happens through mal-planning and mal-project implementation.
