H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received Qatar Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attyah and the accompanying delegation. The meeting discussed promoting bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to the political and security conditions in Iraq and the region and Iraq's war against Da'esh.
Dr. Al-Abadi emphasized on uniting all efforts to defeat terrorism which threatens the national security and the importance of crystallizing all efforts to attain progress for countries of the region.
On his part Mr. Attyah expressed the full support of his country to the Iraqi government in its efforts to fight terrorism and appreciated the victories of the Iraqi forces against Da'esh.
