The Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi mourns to the Iraqi people, the martyrdom of the heroes deputy commander of the Anbar Operations Maj. Gen. Abdul-Rahman Abu Ragheef and commander of the tenth division Maj. Gen. Safin Abdul Majid, along with a group of heroic fighters in the course of their sacred duty to defend Iraq and its people in operations in Anbar.

He praised the two field commanders who led the ranks against Daesh terrorist gangs until they achieved martyrdom.

The commander in chief reiterated that the death of this group of loyal sons of Iraq will give us more resolve and determination to defeat the enemy and take revenge for every drop of blood that is so, to achieve the final victory and the liberation of all our usurped sacred land.

He expressed his deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs and heroes and all fighters in the armed forces.
