Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi received Amb. Jana Hybášková, Head of EU Delegation to Iraq on Wednesday.
They discussed the political and security updates in Iraq and the region with means to promote relations with the EU countries as well as the conditions of the displaced people , International support to Iraq in the counter terrorism field.
Dr. al-Abadi stressed keenness of Iraq to promote relations with the European Union in various fields, calling for more cooperation and support to Iraq in the fight against terrorism.
Amb. Hybášková in turn stated that Daesh poses danger not on Iraq alone but on the region and the whole world; confirming EU support to Iraq in the fight against Daesh and willingness of the EU countries to assist Iraq in many areas including training of security forces.
