Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, received on Saturday, Ms. (Um Qusay) of al-Alam Area in the province of Salahuddin, who hosted a number of survivors from the Spyker massacre at her home until the danger passed them.
H.E. said: "Um Qusay manifested an example of the courageous and good Iraqi mother, and this stems from originality, morality, humanity and pride of our country."
Dr. al-Abadi added that persistence has generated victory in Tikrit, and such examples of redemption led to our winning over the enemies who are trying to divide us, but such stances defeat them, noting that the Iraqis are steadfast, proud of their homeland and their unity therefore, we achieved big success in Anbar at the hands of the army, the police and the popular mobilization with the tribal fighters, I foresee the liberation of Ramadi is near, God willing, he said.
H.E. granted the Iraqi heroine mother (Um Qusay) the Homeland Decoration in addition to a letter of appreciation; also he directed that she performs the Haj this year at the expense of the Iraqi state.
