Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi was in touch with the Iraqi pilgrimage mission to check on the safety of Iraqi pilgrims after the tragic stampede that took place in Mina today, and he continues to follow the conditions of the Iraqi pilgrims. The Iraqi Hajj Mission did not record any case except for one wounded who has been treated, wishing all a safe return to the homeland.

The Prime Minister expressed his deep condolences to the families of the deceased pilgrims from the rest of the Muslim countries, and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
