On Monday the Prime Minister and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi visited operations areas in Salahuddin province and Baiji to oversee the conduct of the security and military operations to complete the full liberalization of the Baiji refinery and some surrounding areas.
The PM held a meeting with the security and military commanders and the leaders of the popular mobilization, and plans were drawn up to sustain the momentum of victories achieved in the Baiji refinery, and secure it fully due to the importance it constitutes in the war against terrorist gangs.
The PM visited the village of Al-Mazraa in Baiji and held another meeting in the operational command headquarters where he reiterated that the victory in the Battle of Baiji and its complete freedom is very important because it is considered a very important chapter in winning the final battle against the terrorist gangs.
The PM expressed his pride in the heroism of our armed forces of the army and police and popular mobilization and the tribes, and at the same time that we are fighting the battle for reforms our eyes look with equal importance and more to our battle with Daesh terrorist gangs, and our support for our fighting heroes will not fall away, noting that whoever possesses such heroes and such a people will inevitably triumph
