H.E. PM the Commander-in-chief Dr. Haider Al-Abadi visited today the heroic fighters at the army and public mobilization at Al-Zedan area at the 6th squad, 60 brigade, 3rd regiment. H.E. had the Iftar meal with the fighters and listened to their suggestions and needs to maintain the momentum of victories and defeat the enemy.
H.E. congratulated the fighters on the occasion of Ramadan Al-Kareem while they are combating the enemies of humanity who distorted Islam which is a religion of mercy and forgiveness. Dr. Al-Abadi added: "we are fighting for our land, dignity, honor and sanctities. Iraqis, mothers and children can be proud of you because in spite of the hard conditions of war there are big numbers of volunteers who are willing to fight with you". H.E. commended the fighters saying that: "a nation which has people like you will never be humiliated of collapsed and were it not for your fighting, the gates of Gulf states would have been opened for Da'esh. Therefore, these countries should be grateful to Iraq and its fighters instead of offending it". H.E. continued: "we are winning and progressing against Da'esh in all areas and we convinced the world to stand by us".
Dr. Al-Abadi appreciated the Fatwa of grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani which protected Iraqis with all of their components referring that victory is close with the help of Allah Al-Mighty.
