Commander In Chief Visits Baghdad Operations Command Headquarter

Prime minister, the commander-in-chief, Dr. Haider al-Abadi visited the command headquarter for Baghdad Operations and chaired a meeting with the security and military leaderships, during which he listened to a detailed account of the security situation in the capital with the efforts to control security in the aim to preserve lives of citizens.

 The commander-in-chief highlighted strengthening the intelligence effort to undermine terrorism and crime in Baghdad as terrorism attempts to create a blemish to shock people. His Excellency also called for more endeavors to prevent terrorist attacks and to strike with an iron fist on those who mess with the capital's security and citizen existence.

 H.E. commended the leadership and the force of Baghdad's Operation Command; meanwhile he signified preserving ownerships of citizens and maintaining good relations between the security forces and the people, avoiding wrong messages to sustain continuous cooperation to eliminate terrorism.

 PM clarified that the organized crime; kidnapping, burglary and armed robbery are no less dangerous than terrorism and should be abolished, stating that no power prevails over the law.
