Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office on Wednesday the Egyptian Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Ahmed Darwish.

During the meeting they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the country and ways to do so, in addition to the situation and developments in the region and the war on Daesh terrorist gangs.

The Egyptian Ambassador reiterated his country's support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and that the two countries represent the Arab essence and are being subjected to the threat of terrorism which must unite efforts to fight it.
