Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office on Wednesday the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Ghassan Al-Zawawi.

During the meeting they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and the general situation in the country and victories achieved against Daesh gangs and efforts to return the displaced to areas that have been liberated.

The PM praised the relations between the two countries and the support provided by the Government of Kuwait and its people by supporting displaced people in areas that have been liberated by our heroic troops and this support reflects the good relations between the two countries.

In turn the Kuwaiti Ambassador stressed his country's keenness to complete the campaign to assist the displaced which has been allocated an amount of $200 million and the completion of its first phase and will begin the second phase soon.
