 Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office on Sunday the commander of United States Central Command Gen. Lloyd Austin and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting they discussed developments on the ground in the battles waged by our heroic troops against Daesh terrorists, and the training and equipping of security forces and volunteers, and assessed the conduct of military operations in all areas, in addition to the importance of continuing international support for Iraq in its war against terrorism.

Dr. Al-Abadi pointed that our heroes on the battlefield achieve victories over the enemy and there is a need for the international community's support for Iraq in this war, and we are determined to liberate every inch of the land of Iraq.

In turn, Austin expressed his country's continued strong support for Iraq its war against the terrorist gangs.
