H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi and the accompanying delegation departed Baghdad today evening going to the Federal Republic of Russia in a one day official visit.

H.E. is going to meet with the Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin to discuss developing relations between the two countries in different fields, especially, expanding cooperation in the military and security sides, supporting the Iraqi forces to face terrorism and promoting economic, trade, energy and investment relations.

The delegation includes the ministers of interior, electricity, transportation and culture besides a number of civilian and military advisors.
