Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office on Tuesday the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States of America General Joseph Dunford and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting they discussed developments in the field in the war on Daesh terrorist gangs in Anbar and Baiji, in addition to the continued and increased support for Iraq in its war against terrorism, especially in the field of training and arming Iraqi forces as well as training of police and increase in its readiness to hold the liberated areas.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff congratulated the victories achieved in Baiji and Anbar, expressing the support the US administration for Iraq in its war against the terrorist gangs.
