Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi met, in the Elysse Palace in Paris, the French President Mr. François Hollande.
They discussed updates on the security and political situations in Iraq and the region, International support to Iraq in the fight against Daesh with means to promote relations between the two countries.
Dr. al-Abadi renewed the call to the International Community to exert more efforts to deny Daesh the financial and logistic support, while supporting Iraq in this war by allotting more efforts to win the war.
The French President, in turn, expressed full support of France to Iraq and the reforming efforts of the Iraqi prime minister, affirming willingness of the French companies to invest in the infrastructural projects in Iraq.
