June 2 2015

H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi asked the international community to practically support Iraq in its war against Da'esh. H.E. affirmed in its speech at the conference of Anti Da'esh Global Coalition held in Paris, that: many countries promised to support us, yet, we only received little assistance from them referring that the world should be aware of the danger of Da'esh.

Dr. Al-Abadi mentioned the efforts of the Iraqi government to conduct political reforms through establishing the basics of a stable and secure Iraq, improving the living standards, providing services to all citizens, encouraging the transition to private sector, increasing oil and gas production, in addition to political and administrative reforms and arranging the relation between the federal government and provinces.

Dr. Al-Abadi referred to the victories achieved by our forces on the battlefield to liberate Salah Al-Deen province and Beiji refinery which are under our control now, indicating that the city is being cleared in addition to liberating most of Dyalah while the Peshmargah liberated important parts of Nineveh and we are fighting Da'esh now in Ramadi.

H.E. asserted that public mobilization is not a militia rather is an official institution formed by public forces under the command of security commanders, and we are sending them to support the army and police. He also called for partners to increase their support as the terrorists are flowing into Iraq from all countries, and we asked to stop them but we haven’t noticed a decrease in such a flow. H.E. mentioned that there are more than 2.5 million displaced persons in Kurdistan and other provinces which require efforts beyond our capabilities including the support of the reconstruction fund.
