Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi visited on Saturday the nursing home in al-Rashad area to get acquainted with the actual life there and wishes them well for the Eid occasion.
His Excellency listened to the requirements of the elderly in the house, had lunch with them and instructed the employees to facilitate all measures that contribute to the provision of better services and care to the elderly.
Dr.al- Abadi pointed out that taking care of the elderly is part of his responsibility as it is for all Iraqis, confirming that he strives to provide the basic services to them to meet their needs.
He added that the country is leading a war against Daesh gangs, highlighting high spirit of the Iraqi fighters despite heat and intense fighting, noting that Iraq will conquer because it owns such champions.
He added that the recent cowardly acts and bombings of Daesh confirm that we are right. We will win and reconstruct our country and provide peace, goodness and security to our people.
