H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi chaired the meeting of crisis unit in which the economic and financial conditions have been discussed.

H.E. asserted on following up and dealing with any new problems including maintaining the dinar exchange rate against the dollar in local markets and fixing any fluctuation like the sudden unjustified raise which has soon been controlled.

The crisis unit agreed on the suggestion of the Iraqi Central Bank to omit the 8% proportion which represents the income and custom taxes which have been added to the monetary transfer.      

The meeting also discussed the oil agreement between the federal and regional governments and the necessity of abiding by its items to ensure receiving the allocated amounts of oil from the region and paying the equivalent dues in return.

On his part, the minister of oil reviewed the relative improvement in oil production and exports which happened as a result of improving the infrastructure of production and exportation.
